For people experiencing mental health difficulties, it may appear at first sight that there is no choice. With the high prevalence and the continuous rise of mental health issues globally, it has become normal to settle for a life shackled with emotional pain, sadness, guilt, remorse, fear, anger, and resentment.
Yet the choice to glide through life’s situations rather than walk carrying the baggage from our past and the fears of our futures exists. The opportunity to improve the quality of your life, to overcome an enduring mental health issue, or to develop strength and resilience in the face of previously debilitating life experiences is here in this moment. Through psychological therapy you can bring awareness and conscious living into your life and relationships, allowing you to experience liberation from chains that have long held you back. Additionally, and with the option of online therapy, you can have sessions from the comfort of your own home or workspace.
From one perspective, I’m a Counselling Psychologist presently maintaining a private practice via online sessions available for any location. From another perspective, I am on a life journey seeking further self-awareness, growth and self-expansion. I also have a yearning to study more ancient energy healing modalities currently being investigated and backed up with science.
II work with adults (21 years +) of diverse backgrounds who present with a range of psychological problems varying in severity. Both individual and couples therapy are provided. More specifically, and as an online therapist, the majority of my patients are Lebanese and Arab expats. While psychological issues may manifest in similar symptoms amongst different people, every individual’s experience remains unique, and this is the primary principle underpinning my therapeutic work.

My therapeutic mission is to guide people through obstacles that hold them back from flourishing into who they can, want to, and are meant to be. This involves understanding your personal history that sets you up to live your life caught up in unconscious belief patterns that are constantly reinforced in your day-to-day actions and thoughts. Understanding your very distinctive psychological makeup is the key to providing you with therapy that is specifically tailored to your needs and unbounded by categorisation and generalisation.
In order to achieve this, my approach emphasises the significance of the therapeutic relationship as a safe space where you can examine yourself truthfully and feel empowered to make the changes required for you to live a more fulfilling life. It is further supported by research based practice, positive psychology principles, draws on mindfulness and meditation techniques, and integrates primarily three schools of psychological therapy:
Humanistic , Psychodynamic , Cognitive Behavioural

My personal ethos, furthered by my commitment to the British Psychological Society’s Code of Ethics, forms the core of my clinical practice and can be summarised by the following values:
